Our Story

Founder of Lightpath Counseling Group
Why I Started Lightpath Counseling Group
After more than 30 years as a therapist, I realized that healing happens best when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. Throughout my career, I met so many individuals who were carrying invisible burdens while trying to hold everything together for everyone else. They weren't looking to be "fixed"; they were looking for a safe place to breathe, to be understood, and to rediscover themselves.
That vision inspired me to create Lightpath Counseling Group.
I wanted to build more than a counseling practice. I wanted to create a place where every client feels welcomed from the very first phone call, where compassion comes before judgment, and where therapy feels like a partnership built on trust and hope.
One thing I have learned over the years is that there isn't one therapist who is right for everyone.
The relationship between a client and their therapist is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy. That's why we take the time to thoughtfully match each person with the therapist who best fits their personality, goals, and unique needs. We believe that finding the right connection is just as important as finding the right treatment.
I also wanted to create a workplace where therapists feel valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work. When clinicians are cared for, they are able to provide the highest level of care to the people who trust us with their stories.
Today, Lightpath Counseling Group is a reflection of those values a place where healing begins with genuine human connection, where every person is treated with compassion and respect, and where no one has to navigate life's challenges alone.
