When Life Feels Like Too Much to Carry

You may be dealing with a major life change such as loss, divorce, separation, financial stress, or changes within your family.

At the same time, you are still expected to manage work, parenting, relationships, school, and everything else that needs your attention. It can be difficult to carry all of that while feeling stressed, sad, or uncertain about what comes next.

I’m Kacy Kaiser, a School Counselor and Mental Health Counseling Intern. I work with children, teens, adults, parents, moms, couples, and older adults who want to feel seen and heard, understand themselves better, and find ways to improve what they are going through.

Why Work With Me

I have a gentle, nurturing style that is supportive while still challenging you when it may help.

Clients often find me easy to talk to. I listen with compassion and create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and accepted for being just who you are.

I am especially comfortable working with people who have never been to therapy before or feel nervous about trying it. You do not need to know exactly what to say or what you are supposed to do.

My Approach to Therapy

I help clients see the beautiful humans they are and accept both their strengths and limitations.

Together, we look at patterns, build practical skills, and practice problem-solving that you can use in the real world.

You may work on becoming kinder to yourself, establishing healthier boundaries, building confidence, or recognizing behavioral patterns that keep coming up.

My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and client-centered therapy

When You Feel Nothing Changes

If part of you is tired of going in circles, that matters. If you’re at the point where you almost make a decision and then pull yourself back, that matters too. Lightpath Counseling Group offers in-person therapy in Port Jefferson and virtual sessions across New York. You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to have it figured out.
