Hello! My name is Daniel Zito, and I am a Licensed Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. I work with clients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds, supporting individuals who are navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, and other areas impacting their mental health and well-being. My approach as a therapist is client-centered and strengths-based, prioritizing a collaborative relationship to create a safe space tailored to your specific needs.
In our work together, I integrate techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, and emotional regulation/mindfulness practices to help you explore and address underlying feelings of distress. Starting therapy can feel daunting, but I’m dedicated to making it a supportive, comfortable experience, encouraging you to share at your own pace. If you’re looking for a safe space to discuss your unique life experiences, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to working with you.
